  • More Detailed Generation
    • Planets now have double the number of characteristics, each playing their own role in determining the habitability of the planet.
    • Star systems now have an age in millions of years, based on the real-life lifespans of each type of star.
    • One can now specify the seed of the galaxy being generated.
  • Refined UI
    • Most text is now handled by JujuAdam's "Scribble" text engine, which allows higher performance and more advanced effects.
    • Replaced the old inspector UI with newer, shinier, and sleeker versions, all of which is faster.
    • Replaced much of the clunky button interface on the generation menu with elegant sliders.
    • Game speed is now changed through an in-game slider, rather than number key.
    • Right-clicking an owned system will now open the system's country, instead of the system itself.
    • There is now SFX for many buttons in the game.
  • Notable Fixes/Changes:
    • Countries should now struggle far less with upkeep and colonization, starting to launch ships in a matter of months, not years
    • Colony ships no longer move strangely(weird turns and vibrating intensely over their destination instead of landing), and should be less taxing on performance, utilizing more optimized movement code.
    • Resprited the Colony Ship to be more like an actual ship than a blank triangle.
    • Rewrote much of the galactic generation sequence, making it a bit less buggy, faster, and easier to modify.
    • Locked access to the Discrete Tools menu until it is actually ready to be used again.
    • General optimizations.
  • Other:
    • Added an additional music track by Ross Bugden: "Interstellar"
    • Added splash texts to the main menu.
    • Added a credits.txt file.
    • Began implementing vanity names for countries.
